I'm 5 Months Old

I'm now 5 months old and moving like crazy. Grammy Sandy and Grandpap Kevin gave me this great outfit this past weekend. This is my first pair of shorts and my first tank. Bring on summer! I'm rolling over like crazy, talking a lot and grabbing everything that comes close and trying to put it in my mouth.

A couple weeks ago Mommy and I both had our Penn State shirts on so Daddy joined in the fun and we had a Penn State day.

This past weekend Grammy Sandy and Grandpap Kevin came to visit me. They brought me some new fun summer clothes and they spoiled me like crazy. I love it! We all took a walk down to the Market on Saturday and got breakfast there from the vendors and then Grammy and Grandpap watched me while Mommy and Daddy went on a date. It was a great weekend and I was really sad to see them leave yesterday but I think I will see them again soon. Mommy and Daddy tell me I have a new cousin, Simon, so hopefully we will go meet him this summer and I can see Grandpap and Grammy again.

I also have four new friends! Betsy and Morgan had Rachel on Thursday. Then, on Friday Elijah was born to Dawn and Shun-Luoi and Jamie and Susan had Ben. And finally yesterday Jason and Amy had Zoey. I am so excited to meet my new friends!

My First Easter

We had a great Easter this past weekend. We got ready and went to the early church service and then spent the rest of the day together. And together we all took naps in the living room. :-)
Riley got a fun Easter package from Grandma and Grandpa Henry with lots of little goodies in it. You can see in the picture above he is enjoying a Reese's Peaunut Butter Cup and also enjoying the large box it all came in.
I have affectionately nicknamed our little guy Smiley Riley because there is a constant smile on his face. He is such joy and each day I am learning new and exciting things about him and his personality. This is a fun age. He is rolling over more and even as I type this I hear him upstairs talking to himself in his crib. I love him!
I hope you all had a great Easter, and enjoyed celebrating our risen Savior!

4 Months!

Riley is almost 4 1/2 months. I can't believe it! The weeks are flying by and our little guy continues to grow and grow. He was over 12 pounds at his 4 month check-up and doing great. Riley is a huge smiler. He is constantly smiling and squeeling with delight. I absolutely love hearing him "talk" to himself while he is laying in his crib in the morning. And I love walking in his room, peaking over the crib and seeing his smiling face beaming back at me.
Since turning 4 months he has enjoyed a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Henry and also taken his first trip to State College to scope out a future dorm room. He has also started eating cereal, though it tends to end up more on his tummy than in his tummy. He is enjoying tummy time a lot more and has actually rolled over several times. It is fun to cheer him on and watch him roll.
His eczema is slowly getting better. I just cake on the auqaphore several times a day. His acid reflux has kind of kicked back in, hence bibs or nakedness in almost every picture. One day I changed his outfit 3 times in 15 minutes and finally just put him to bed naked. And oddly enough Riley really loves having his outfits changed. All babies I have ever changed fuss and fuss but Riley gets a big smile on his face and enjoys the entire process. Weird but awesome.
With all the visitors and traveling it has definately thrown him off and we are back to the days of sleepless nights. I am hoping this week we can get back on track.
