We are...

having a little GIRL!!!

We couldn't be more excited! I went out to Old Navy this morning and bought some cute little girl clothes. (By the way, everything at Old Navy that is clearance is an additional 50% off right now!) So, around June 10th we will be adding a little pink bundle of joy to our family. Thus begins the name search and all the fun preparations for a little girl. I can't wait to hear Riley say "sissy" for the first time. :-)

Introducing Tyler Timothy Henry

My little brother Shannon is now a daddy! He and his wife Nicole welcomed a baby boy into the world yesterday, January 12, 2010. Tyler Timothy was born happy and healthy at 5:39 a.m. and weighed 8 pounds 5 ounces. Nicole is doing great and was amazing during labor, going all natural. Way to go Nicole! Here are some pics of the new family and little Tyler.

Winter Fun

These pictures were taken a few weeks ago when we had our first big snowfall. I think we had about 12 inches outside and we decided to bundle Riley up and use his new sled to explore and also pick up the Sunday paper. I tried pulling him around the front yard but he couldn't stay sitting up in the sled and kept falling backwards. And when I tried to turn the sled a little bit he would lean too much to the side and fall over into the snow. Least to say we didn't stay out too long.

Christmas Time

Riley loves to stand on this old diaper box and look out the window. He crawls up on it constantly to watch the squirrels and anything else that may be outside.

This morning I helped Daddy put together my work bench that Mommy and Daddy gave me. I was a big help, just ask Daddy.

Announcing...

Baby Jones #2 is on the way! We are thrilled to add to our family! I am currently 15 weeks along so the baby is due sometime around June 10th. We will find out in January if it is a boy or a girl and I am super excited about that.

I have felt pretty good these last few weeks. There were some horrible weeks during the first trimester but I am hoping everything is great from here on out.

Please keep this little one in your prayers as God brings him or her to mind. And please pray for the rest of us that we can all stay healthy through this cold and flu season.

First Snow of the Year

It has been snowing most of the day today and it is just beautiful from the inside looking out. It's the perfect day to turn the Christmas tree on, watch a Christmas movie, bake yummy things (like brownies and granola) that make the house smell good, and take pictures of your child experiencing his first snow. He loved looking at it, standing in it, but NOT touching it. You will see what I mean.
